5 Ways to Make Money on the Internet

1. Sell Your Products Online

If you have you own off-line business you can set up an ecommerce website and sell your products on the Internet.  If you already have your own website you can set up a shopping cart and credit card payment system and start earning extra cash 24 hours a day.

2. Drop Ship Other People's Products

If you don't have your own products you can use a drop ship company who will take your orders and deliver products for you.  This means you never need to carry any stock and saves your money on storage costs.  Build your own ecommerce website and stock it with products from the drop ship company.

3. Sell Other People's Products through  Affiliate Programs.

With this method you don't even need to build your own ecommerce website.  Simply send traffic to their website and collect commissions when ever your visitors buy from them.

4. Sell Advertising Space on Your Website.

If you already have your own website that is receiving traffic you can sell valuable Internet real estate with banner advertising or place ads on your site provided by Google Ads, Yahoo Marketing or other providers.

5. Sell Other People's Software or Information by Licensing

Rather than selling other people's products through affiliate programs and getting paid a commission you can buy reseller licenses and get all the money from the sale.  If you buy Master Resell Rights (MRR) to a product you can sell the product 'as is' and keep all of the money.  You can also sell the MRR to other people who can then sell the product.  You can also buy Private Label Rights (PLR) and claim the product as your own.  You can rebrand and change the product, sell it and keep all of the cash or sell the MRR to others who can then sell it on. This gets your brand in front of many people without any effort.

All of these methods require you to get traffic to yours or other people's websites so whatever method you choose you will need to learn some traffic generation techniques or pay someone else to do it for you.

It is best to have a collection of related products so you can sell more that once to each customer.  This can be done by email marketing or up selling.

By collecting emails of the visitors to your website or people that buy your products you can send them offers for similar products you think they might like.  To keep people on your mailing list, it good to send them something free every now and again, like a free report or free software.  This keeps their interest, otherwise they may unsubscribe if all you are going to send them are sales letters.

Another way of selling multiple products to the same customer is using an up sell (or backend product).  This means that your offer a relatively inexpensive or free product on your website and when the visitor buys (or downloads) the product you offer a more expensive upgrade.  The higher priced item is easier to sell to someone that has already committed to buy something from you.

I hope this article has given you some ideas on how you can make money on the Internet and I wish you the best of luck with your business.
