Making Money With Your Blog

Can you easily make money with your blog? Yes, if you know how to blog and know what you're blogging about. Blogging for money is no different than marketing anything else. It's all about promoting, promoting, and more promoting.

Blogging for money involves choosing a particular product, and marketing the hell out of it through your blog. There's a little more to it than that, but basically that's what its all about.

You choose a product as an affiliate, then check if there's a demand for it (supply & demand), and then you create a blog and market the hell out of it. How you market it and/or promote it, is where it becomes very important. Basically, there is really only one way to promote it via a blog (which by the way is a sort of website), and that's by getting a lot of traffic.

To make money with your blog (website), you obviously have to market or promote your blog. You can do this many ways, but the best ways in my opinion are 1) getting indexed and ranked on the first page of Google and Yahoo. This takes some knowledge and know-how. The other way is through a PPC (pay per click) campaign which you have to pay for.

So, if you're serious about making money online through blogging, here's what you need to keep in mind.

As you create your blog, remember to include the keyword phrase in your blog title. Doing so ensures that the keyword phrase shows up within the tags of your blog. If your not sure, check the source code until you see what you want

Also, make sure that your blog url also reflects your keywords, and the first paragraph of your post mentions the keywords a number of times as this is what shows up in the description on the search engines.

Finally, I like to include a few widgets in my sidebar... other than adsense... for further exposure. This also helps with ranking well because they are links back to your blog. Hope this helps.
