How to Make Money Online - Where to Start & How to Get There

There are so many different ways to make money online, and everyone has different ideas on how they want to do it.

Affiliate marketing, pay per click ads, info products, you name it, and there is a way, but only if you dedicate yourself to these simple tips..

1. Focus on your goal.

2. Invest in the right product.

3. Learn everything there is to learn.

4. Read testimonials, reviews, anything that's out there. And there is allot.

5. Work at it..always have that goal in your mind, day and night.

6. Don't give up, keep researching and learning.

I think I have read just about everything there is on this subject. I have purchased many e-books, etc. The one thing I learned from any of them, is that it does require hard work and dedication, but it can be done.

I have been working with the Profit Lance Course for some time now. I say for some time now, because it is a lifetime course. The resources and the training is constantly being update. For the one time, low fee, you will never finish with the course. You always have something else to learn, new updates, and new projects to help you gain expertise in this field.

The money is there. The internet is so vast that anyone can make money, and lots of it. You just need the right training, and the ability to focus on the knowledge received, then put it to use. Spend the time to learn first, after that the money will be easily made.

How to Succeed Making Money Online Where So Many Others Fail Part 2-Promoting Affiliate Products

The beauty of affiliate marketing is that you don't even need your own website, but it helps. But if you don't have your own website, how do you go about promoting someone else's product and making money as an affiliate?

First, you could advertise the product's sales page using Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising. PPC advertising is fast and easy, but it does cost money. If you've never tried PPC, I'd suggest reading an AdSense guide or two. You can probably even find some good Ezine Articles on the subject. If you don't know what you're doing with PPC you could easily lose a small fortune with it.

Another option is to place ads in ezines or with online classified sites. There are some good ones available but these also cost money. Google "online classified ads" to find the top ones.

If you're on a very tight budget, but do have a website, writing articles is a great way to easily and inexpensively promote a product. In fact, you're reading one right now. Just write an article related to the product you want to promote, or write a review of the product and submit it to one of the many free article directory sites.

When people are putting together a newsletter or need content for their website or blog, they look for free articles to use first. If you write a quality article and submit to one of the article directories, your article could get picked up by a large newsletter or website.

Then you'll have hundreds, even thousands of people reading your article and hopefully, clicking on the link to your website. It's great because your article could be used by people over and over again for a very long time, meaning residual traffic for just a little bit of work.

It's very important that you put a link to your website in your article's bio. This is the area at the bottom of the article that tells a bit about the author. Bios are a great way to get free traffic to your website.

So if you do have a website up that's promoting a product, write a quality article on the same subject, submit it to a free article directory and soon you could start to see the affiliate sales pouring in!

A Savings Plan Where You Can Actually Make Money

Many folks want a savings plan where they can actually make money, not just miserly interest. Also, many would consider investing money in stocks and bonds if they felt it could be done without much risk. Here's a custom-built savings plan and investment program I offered clients when I was an active financial planner.

We'll use Jack as our example. Jack wanted a savings plan that was safe and paid more interest than he could earn at the bank. Plus, he didn't want too much money accumulating in the bank where it was so readily available because he was always tempted to take a withdrawal and spend it.

Jack had never been into investing money in stocks and bonds to make money because he abhorred risk and did not know how to invest. He also disliked and did not trust the investment industry or those who worked in it. Because he knew he needed an investment program as well as a savings plan if he wanted to earn higher returns, he decided to talk to me.

We started Jack's first financial adventure with $600 per month flowing (automatically) from his checking account to a large mutual fund family. All of it went directly into a money market fund where it was safe and earned a competitive interest rate. Plus, this gave us flexibility because money could easily be moved from there to any of the other funds offered by the fund family.

The money market fund was earmarked as his savings plan. Of the $600 that went in each month, $300 would stay there. The other $300 was his investment plan and would automatically flow each month into three different funds, $100 each.

The three other funds were: a short-term bond fund, an intermediate-term bond fund and a conservative stock fund. The bond funds gave him more interest in the form of dividends, which were simply automatically reinvested to buy more shares. The stock fund offered both dividends (that were also reinvested) and growth.

Jack was now investing money as well as saving it. He was finally an investor, accepting only a moderate to low level of risk overall. As money flowed from his money market fund each month to his bond funds and stock fund, each $100 purchase would automatically buy more shares when the price was down and fewer when the price was higher.

This is called DOLLAR COST AVERAGING, and it works to lower the average cost per share. Plus, as Jack's dividends reinvested periodically he would accumulate more shares.

There you have it. A savings plan and an investment program all in one simple package. Jack was still a client of mine 20 years later and eventually allowed me to be a bit more aggressive in my recommendations. But he still does not trust the investment industry.
